COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 6,171 persons on Sunday, raising first dose vaccination coverage in the country to 77.51%.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 65.58% of the population has received the second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 35.11% has received the third dose.
Among the population over 20 years, second dose coverage is 96.1% and third dose coverage is 52.67%. The Epidemiology Unit states that 96.2% of the population over 12 years has received the first vaccine dose and 81.4% has received the second dose.
Vaccination coverage among the 16 to 19 age group is 80%.
In total, the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 16,990,817 persons. The second dose has been administered to 14,374,087 persons.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 7,696,426 persons have received the third dose. This includes 4,228 persons vaccinated on Sunday.
The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 491 persons on Sunday and 1,076 persons received the second dose. The first dose of the vaccine has been administered to a total of 2,500,172 persons and the second dose has been administered to 844,021 persons.
On Sunday, 33 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm, raising the total number of persons to have received the first dose of the vaccine to 12,047,103. The second dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,168,300 persons, including 343 persons vaccinated on Sunday.
The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine. A total of 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,812 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
