71,204 persons receive COVID-19 vaccines

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 71,204 persons on Monday and 74.01% of the country’s population has received at least one vaccine dose to date.

Our World in Data states that 63.76% of the population has received both doses. According to the Epidemiology Unit, both vaccine doses have been administered to 93.8% of the country’s over-20 population.

The Epidemiology Unit adds that 15,914,780 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 13,716,871 persons have received both doses.

The third vaccine dose, for which the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is being used, has been administered to 324,633 persons. This includes 59,070 persons vaccinated on Monday.

The Pfizer vaccine was administered as a first dose to 1,646 persons on Monday and 512 persons received the second dose. In total, the first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 1,532,149 persons and the second dose has been administered to 454,880 persons.

The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,939,089 persons and 10,904,861 persons have received the second dose. On Monday, 1,145 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 8,824 persons received the second dose.

Seven persons received the second dose of Moderna on Monday, raising the total number of persons to receive the second dose of the vaccine to 782,745. The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 804,801 persons.

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,792 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
