COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 72,003 persons on Tuesday, with 74.1% of the total population now having received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine to date.
Our World in Data states that the second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 63.94% of the population.
In total, the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 15,932,194 persons and 13,749,891 persons have received the second dose as well.
The third dose has been administered to 656,942 persons, of which 65,285 were vaccinated on Tuesday.
The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 851 persons on Tuesday and 956 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, 1,542,525 persons have received the first dose of Pfizer and 460,889 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,946,127 persons and 10,931,804 persons have received the second dose as well. On Tuesday, 1,327 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 3,578 persons received the second dose.
On Tuesday, six persons received the second dose of Sputnik V, raising the number of persons to have received the second dose of the vaccine to 155,812. The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons.
The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 804,801 persons and the second dose has been administered to 782,793 persons.
The Epidemiology Unit states that the first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and 1,418,593 persons have received the second dose as well.
