COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 79,797 persons on Wednesday, and 92.4% of the population over the age of 20 had received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine as of 2 November.
Our World in Data states that 72.9% of the total population has received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while the second dose has been administered to 62.8% of the population.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 15,718,509 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 13,521,066 persons have received the second dose as well.
The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is being administered as a booster shot and the third dose has been administered to 21,924 persons. This includes the 12,817 persons who received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine as a booster on Wednesday.
The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 44,511 persons and the second dose was administered to 1,012 persons on Wednesday. In total, the first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 1,368,405 persons and the second dose has been administered to 442,925 persons.
The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,908,237 persons and the second dose has been administered to 10,729,945 persons. On Wednesday, 2,550 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 15,165 persons received the second dose of the vaccine.
The second dose of AstraZeneca was administered to 3,679 persons on Wednesday and a total of 1,410,045 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine to date. The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons.
Twenty-eight persons received the first dose of Moderna on Wednesday and 35 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, the first dose of Moderna has been administered to 803,126 persons and the second dose has been administered to 782,386 persons.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,765 persons have received the second dose of Sputnik V.
