86,885 persons vaccinated against COVID-19

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 86,885 persons on Thursday and 75.8% of the country’s population has received at least one COVID-19 vaccine to date.

Our World in Data states that 64.56% of the population has received the second dose. As of Wednesday, the booster dose had been administered to 33.1% of the population over 20 years.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 16,359,250 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 13,879,863 persons have received the second dose of a vaccine.

The booster dose has been administered to 4,861,472 persons. This includes 26,796 persons vaccinated on Thursday.

On Thursday, the first dose of Pfizer was administered to 58,627 persons and the second dose was administered to 279 persons. In total, 1,930,111 persons have received the first dose of Pfizer and 487,355 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

The first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 375 persons on Thursday and 808 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. A total of 11,985,597 persons have received the first dose of Sinopharm and 11,030,742 persons have received the second dose of Sinopharm.

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and 1,418,593 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna. The second dose has been administered to 787,361 persons.

The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons and the second dose has been administered to 155,812 persons.
