The 93rd death anniversary of the late Fredrick Richard Senanayake, a national hero who had been in the vanguard of the freedom struggle, was commemorated yesterday by the Deshabandu F.R. Senanayake

Commemoration Society, in front of his statue at the Vihara Maha Devi Park in Colombo. Western Province Governor Hemakumara Nanayakkara was the Chief Guest at the event. The garlanding of the statue was performed by FRSCS President Ranil Senanayake
