COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 98,116 persons on Saturday and 78.32% of the country’s population has received at least one vaccine dose.
As of 18 February, 65.42% of the total population had received the second dose, Our World in Data states. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 28.75% of the population has received the booster dose as well.
As of 17 February, 95.2% of the population over 20 years had received the first two vaccine doses and 43.12% had received the third dose.
First dose coverage among the population over 12 years is 95.3% and second dose coverage is 79.6%. In terms of those aged 16 to 19 years, 77.9% have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 16,847,116 persons have received the first vaccine dose and 14,079,398 persons have received the second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
The third dose has been administered to 6,462,786 persons. This includes 79,164 persons vaccinated on Saturday.
The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 5,061 persons on Saturday and 8,437 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, 2,393,425 persons have received the first dose of Pfizer and 643,746 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
On Saturday, 1,805 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 3,649 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. A total of 12,010,149 persons have received the first dose of Sinopharm and 11,073,886 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons and 155,812 persons have received the second dose as well.
