Attorney General Dappula de Livera informed the Secretary General of Parliament yesterday that the Parliamentary seat of SJB MP Ranjan Ramanayake has become vacant in view of his conviction and sentence for Contempt of Court.
The AG gave his opinion in response to a query from the SG of Parliament Dhammika Dasanayake.
