AKD challenges accusers to prove allegations 

National People’s Power (NPP) leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake over the weekend refuted all accusations suggesting his involvement in fund investments within Malta.

Addressing a public meeting in Gampaha, Dissanayake challenged his accusers to prove their claims against him.

“If I have in fact misused public funds as accused I would not be able to engage in politics. The NPP is not a party that can be defeated through mudslinging and false accusations,” he said. 

According to the NPP leader, the general public has united against the corrupt class for the first time in the nation’s history and he emphasised the importance of seizing this opportunity.
