Amana Bank has partnered with Sri Lanka Press Association to sponsor its 68th Anniversary Convention which will be held on 1 November at BMICH under the distinguished patronage of President Ranil Wickremensinge and Indian High Commissioner Gopal Baglay.
With a distinguished gathering of local and foreign journalists, foreign diplomats, literary scholars and artists, the convention will also witness the felicitation of veteran journalists who have rendered a yeoman service to the field, by awarding them with the D.F. Kariyakarawana Memorial Journalism Golden Award.

Amana Bank, in line with its people friendly values, is honoured to have partnered with Sri Lanka Press Association to mark its 68th anniversary and be involved in recognising veteran journalists who have contributed yeomen services.”

We believe this partnership would facilitate in continuing our association’s vision in creating a supportive environment for the highest quality of responsible journalism in the country.”
The Sri Lanka Press Association is an umbrella for all professionals in the field of print, electronic and digital media which was founded in 1955 by erudite scholar, Ven. Udakendawala Siri Saranankara Thera and most respected veteran Journalists, late D.F. Kariyakarawana and Hema De Silva.
