A Private Member’s Bill to repeal the Kandyan Marriage and Divorce No. 44 of 1952 was published in the gazette yesterday under the name of MP Venerable Rathana Thero.
Earlier yesterday, the MP presented a Bill to Parliament to repeal the Muslim Marriages and Divorce Act (MMDA).
