Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Minister visits holy city of Madinah

Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs of Sri Lanka Minister Prof. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi, together with National Integration Deputy Minister Muneer Mulaffar, recently visited the holy city of Madinah as a part of their recent visit to Saudi Arabia to sign the Hajj Agreement.

The Minister also took the opportunity to explore the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilisation and gained insights into the life of the Prophet Muhammad and the development of Islamic civilisation in Madinah. Additionally, the Minister visited the Quba Mosque, the first mosque ever built in the history of Islam.

Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs Director M.S.M. Nawas also accompanied the Minister.
