Bus carrying Parliament staffers takes a plunge

A Transport Board bus carrying around 30 members of the Parliament staff plunged into the pond in front of the Parliament last evening.

Parliament sources said that the heavy downpour at the time had led to the bus skidding and falling into the shallow body of water, but no one was injured in the incident.

There have been several instances where vehicles have fallen into the large pond, mainly while speeding.
