CEB hands over transmission line and grid capacity development plan 2023-2030: Minister

Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera announced receiving the transmission line development and grid capacity development plan of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) for 2023-2030 on Wednesday.

The strategic blueprint outlines crucial steps to integrate renewable energy, thermal sources, energy storage additions and securing financing for the projects heralding a significant leap towards a stable future. 

“Discussed with the CEB officials on the infrastructure development plan to integrate renewable energy additions and financing of the projects,” the Minister tweeted.
