COVID-19 death toll remains at 16,485 with zero fatalities confirmed

Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 death toll remained at 16,485 yesterday with zero COVID-19 fatalities confirmed the previous day.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.27% of the total COVID-19 deaths are over 60 years, 22.41% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.32% are below 30 years. A total of 9,303 COVID-19 deaths confirmed to date are male and 7,182 COVID-19 deaths are female.
