COVID-19 death toll remains at 16,502 with zero fatalities confirmed

Health officials stated that no COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed on Saturday and the country’s COVID-19 death toll remains unchanged at 16,502.

Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 9,314 are male and 7,188 are female. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.29% of the deaths are from the over-60 age group, 22.4% are from the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.31% are from the below-30 age group.
