COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 113,013 persons on Wednesday, with 46,209 persons receiving the first dose of a vaccine and 66,804 persons receiving the second dose.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, the first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 41,387 persons and the second dose was administered to 66,094 persons. In total, the first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 10,820,941 persons and the second dose of the vaccine has been administered to 8,875,888 persons.
The first dose of Moderna was administered to 2,209 persons on Wednesday, raising the number of persons to receive the first dose of the vaccine to 775,213. The second dose has been administered to 757,842 persons, of which 11 persons were vaccinated on Wednesday.
A total of 1,444,214 persons have received the first dose of AstraZeneca and 894,953 persons have received the second dose of AstraZeneca. On Wednesday, 1,978 persons received the first dose and 480 persons received the second dose of AstraZeneca.
The first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine was administered to 635 persons on Wednesday and the second dose of the vaccine was administered to 219 persons. The first dose of the vaccine has been administered to a total of 449,796 persons, of which 242,067 persons have received the second dose as well.
The Epidemiology Unit adds that 159,089 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 43,450 persons have received the second dose of Sputnik V. The first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to a total of 13,649,253 persons and 10,814,200 persons have received the second dose as well.
As of Wednesday, 90.5% of the country’s population over the age of 30 had received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 36.6% of the 20 to 29 population has received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 12.4% has received both doses of a vaccine.
