COVID-19 vaccines administered to 47,459 persons

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 47,459 persons on Tuesday and 95.1% of the population over 12 years has received at least one vaccine dose.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, second dose coverage among the population over 12 years is 79.4%. Among the population over 20 years, 95.3% have received the second dose and 39.98% have received the third dose.

Our World in Data states that 78.12% of the total population has received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 65.22% of the population has received the second dose as well.

A total of 16,798,256 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 14,023,405 persons have received the second dose.The third dose has been administered to 5,895,024 persons. This includes 42,946 persons vaccinated on Tuesday.

The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 2,441 persons on Tuesday and 909 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. A total of 2,356,352 persons have received the first dose of Pfizer and 605,727 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

On Tuesday, 457 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 706 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, the first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,998,362 persons and the second dose has been administered to 11,055,912 persons.

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

The Sputnik V first dose has been administered to 159,110 persons and the second dose has been administered to 155,812 persons.
