schools for the year 2023.
The decision to revise the circular has been after taking into consideration the facts submitted by various parties, including the Principals, Circular Revision Committee, Investigation Division of the Ministry, Bribery and Corruption Investigation Commission, Elections Commission, and Court decisions.
The proposal calls to adhere to the provisions mentioned in the revised Circular of the Ministry for the admission of students to Grade 1 of the schools with effect from the year 2023.
The Cabinet paper to this effect submitted by Education Minister Susil Premajayantha was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on Monday.
