The Tourism Promotion Bureau is to launch a joint business-oriented promotion to attract more tourists to the country.
Cabinet approval was given to call for proposals from leading airlines, selected online travel organisers, leading international tour operators and internationally recognised advertising agencies, print and financial institutions for this purpose.
The proposal was presented by the Minister of Tourism Prasanna Ranatunga.
