Chaturika Sirisena launches ‘Janadhipathi Thaththa’ book

The launching of the book ‘Janadhipathi Thaththa’, a fascinating story of an ordinary man from a farming family becoming the President of the country, seen through the eyes of a daughter was held under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena at the BMICH yesterday.

The first copy of the book was presented to President Maithripala Sirisena and Jayanthi Sirisena by Chaturika Sirisena. Later she presented the book to the distinguished invitees including Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The book was also given to the daughter of former President Dulanjali Premadasa and to Isha Wijeweera, daughter of former JVP Leader Rohana Wijeweera.

Dignitaries including Ministers and MPs and former First Lady Hema Premadasa participated in this ceremony.
