China donates 100 sets of solar street lights

The Chinese Embassy in Colombo on Thursday said donated 100 sets of Solar Street Lights to the Eastern Province.

The donation was made by the Yunan Province of China to Sri Lanka, the Embassy said.

The donation was handed over by DCM Hu wei to Eastern Province Governor Anuradha Yahampath in a ceremony held in Trincomalee.

As per the Embassy, these solar street light sets were donated among 38 different schools in 17 educational zones in the Eastern Province.
