Several representatives of the Chinese Communist Party including the Vice Minister of the International Department Sun Haiyan met with the Sri Lanka Podujana Party (SLPP) National Organiser Namal Rajapaksa on Tuesday.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) Rajapaksa said the meeting sought to strengthen the enduring alliance between the SLPP and CPC, setting the stage for collaboration and shared vision.
Rajapaksa said the discussions focused on enhancing bilateral ties and future plans of the SLPP to establish a practical political course. SLPP General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam was also present at the event.
