Civil Society Collective goes to UN, EU, foreign missions against Govt.

The Civil Society Collective yesterday handed over missives to several diplomatic missions in Colombo including the UN and EU offices to raise their concerns on the Government’s alleged undemocratic activities including the new anti-terror bill, the postponement of polls and the suppression of trade unions. The group was represented by activists Britto Fernando, Dr.Dileepa Witharana, Senior lecturer Vijith Rohan, Dr. Kaushalya Ariyaratne, Eranga Gunasekara and Nirmal Dewasiri
