CoPA lauds State institutions today

The appraisal of Financial Performance of institutions coming under the supervision of the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA) of Parliament and the award ceremony of the year 2017 will be held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall on today.

The ceremony will be attended by President Maithripala Sirisena. The heads of institutions which have reached highest level of compliance for the financial year 2017, obtained through the Computer Information Management System that collates information from all public institutions, provincial councils and local Government institutions, have been invited for this appraisal.

An instructional workshop, aimed at educating all public institutions on the revised questionnaire prepared for the financial year 2017, was also held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall on Thursday.
