Commissioner General of Essential Services appointed

A Commissioner General of Essential Services and two Additional Commissioners were appointed to coordinate and initiate all activities to maintain the supply of essential services as per the power vested in the President.  

Sri Lanka Administrative Service Special Grade Officer K.D.S. Ruwanchandra has been appointed as the Commissioner General of Essential Services and Ministry of Agriculture former Secretary Rohana Pushpakumara and Postmaster General Ranjith Ariyaratne have been appointed as Additional Commissioners.  

Secretaries from 25 districts have been appointed as its coordinating officers.
