The committee tasked with addressing salary discrepancies in the public sector has started accepting suggestions for updating salary benefits, according to the President's Media Division (PMD).
This initiative aims to address and rectify long-standing salary issues within the sector.
Proposals for revising salary allowances can now be submitted to the committee.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe recently appointed this committee to address the salary discrepancies. The President has mandated the committee to submit its recommendations report within three months, underscoring the urgency and importance of this task.
The PMD encourages all relevant stakeholders to contribute their suggestions, ensuring a comprehensive review and equitable revision of public sector salaries.
