Committee on Constitutional Reform hands over report

The Report of the Committee on Constitutional Reform appointed by President Gotabaya Rajapska handed over its report yesterday.

“The contents of the Report will be considered in depth by the Government with a view to determining further measures to be taken,” the President’s Office said.

Romesh De Silva PC headed the Committee which was appointed in September 2020.

Its other members are retired Prof. G.H. Peiris, Judge A.W.A. Salam, Manohara De Silva PC, Sanjeewa Jayawardena PC, Samantha Ratwatte PC, Prof. A. Sarveswaran, Prof. W. Seneviratne, Navin Marapana PC and Kaushalya Molligoda as the Committee’s Secretary.
