Consul General updates Latvia’s Foreign Ministry on SL

On an official visit to the Republic of Latvia, Thomas F. Daetwyler, Hon. Consul General of Latvia in Sri Lanka visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia and met the Head of the Asia and Oceania Division Egils Dzelme.

The Ministry briefed on the recent developments in Latvia and the interest to promote bilateral relationship between Sri Lanka and Latvia and in the region. The Consular Division informed about the latest procedures and the outlook. They discussed measures to further the interests of Latvia in Sri Lanka, with the Latvian Development Institute, the Latvian Institute, the Riga Technical University and the Riga Stradins University (Medical Faculty).
