DGHS confirms 65 COVID-19 deaths, fatalities rise to 2,769

Sixty-five COVID-19 deaths were confirmed by the Director General of Health Services (DGHS) on Tuesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 2,769.

Two persons below the age of 30 were among the confirmed deaths. The Department of Government Information added that the deaths of 53 persons over the age of 60 and 10 persons between ages 30 and 59 were also confirmed as COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday.

Forty persons were male and 25 persons were female, the Department of Government Information added.
