Only 58,994 persons were vaccinated against COVID-19 on Sunday, with 25,921 persons receiving the first dose of a vaccine and 33,073 persons receiving the second dose.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 20,284 persons received the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on Sunday and 268 persons received the second dose. The first dose of the vaccine has been administered to a total of 375,097 persons, of which 191,758 persons have received the second dose as well.
Meanwhile, a consignment of 92,430 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine reached the island yesterday.
On Sunday, 3,136 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 25,838 persons received the second dose of Sinopharm. A total of 10,021,318 persons have received the first dose of the vaccine to date and 7,352,699 persons have received the second dose of Sinopharm.
A total of 1,401,732 persons have received the first dose of AstraZeneca and 887,430 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine. This includes persons vaccinated on Sunday, when 2,475 persons received the first dose, and 135 persons received the second dose.
Twenty-six persons received the first dose of Moderna on Sunday, and 2,820 persons received the second dose. The first dose of the vaccine has been administered to a total of 772,366 persons, of which 705,610 persons have received the second dose as well.
On Sunday, the second dose of Sputnik V was administered to 4,012 persons, raising the total number of persons to receive the second dose to 41,749. The Sputnik V first dose has been administered to 159,088 persons.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 12,729,601 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 9,179,246 persons have received the second dose as well. Of the country’s population over the age of 30, 79.8% have received both doses of a vaccine.
