Debate from tomorrow on GR policy statement

A two-day adjournment debate on the Government policy statement presented to Parliament by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Party leaders and the political party representatives who met on Friday decided to hold the two-day debate from 1.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. on each day.

There will be no vote taken at the end of the debate, as it will be held as an adjournment debate.

On Thursday, a vote of condolence on former Prime Minister D.M Jayaratne will be held in Parliament.
