Dialogue on what kind of leader should be ‘the 20-20 Character’

It is of vital importance to hand over our Motherland in the year 2020 to a Sri Lankan who is capable of building a strong economy in the country while fostering reconciliation, protecting civilised society and safeguarding the unitary status of the country. In its attempt to discuss what kind of person the ‘20-20 Character’ should be, the Deshashakthi Jathika Viaparaya, of which the convener is Governor of the Western Province Dr. Hemakumara Nanayakkara, is conducting a high level dialogue on 3 August at 3.30 p.m. at the auditorium of the OPA (Organisation of Professional Associations) in Stanley Wijesundere Mawatha, Colombo 7, with the participation of intellectuals and experts invited from varied fields.
