The Election Commission (EC) yesterday announced that the deadline for submitting applications to cast postal votes in the 2025 Local Government (LG) polls has been extended from 12 March to 17 March midnight.
The decision was taken considering requests from various parties.
The Commission noted that the applicants must ensure their duly filled forms are delivered to District Returning Officers through the District Election Office by the new deadline.
