Ex-CID Director and SI further remanded

Former Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Director Shani Abeysekara and Sub Inspector (SI) Mendis were further remanded till 20 August by the Gampaha Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Both suspects were arrested and remanded for their alleged involvement in fabricating evidence in connection to a weapons case
