Three new Ambassadors and a High Commissioner to Sri Lanka presented credentials to President Maithripala Sirisena on Monday at a ceremony held at the President’s House in Colombo.
The new diplomats assuming duties were Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia Petar Ljubicic, Ambassador of the Republic of Congo Andre Poh, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy Rita Giuliana Mannella, and High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana Michael Nii Nortey Oquaye.
Sirisena-appointed Foreign Affairs Minister MP Dr. Sarath Amunugama and Secretary to the President Udaya R. Seneviratne were also present on this occasion.
