Govt. launches ‘100,000 Projects’ initiative tomorrow

In a bid to strengthen inclusive growth, the Finance Ministry will launch ‘Gama Samanga Pilisandarak (A discussion with the village) – 100,000 Projects’ tomorrow.

The initiative is inspired by the Budget 2022 to support the sustainable development of an enhanced manufacturing economy.

The program covers all 14,021 Grama Niladhari Divisions of the 336 Divisional Secretariat Divisions countrywide.

The project identification process is completely decentralised enabling the public to identify their needs by themselves.
