The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) yesterday said a litre of kerosene oil has been reduced by Rs. 50 with effect from yesterday.
Accordingly, a litre of Lanka kerosene oil will be sold for Rs. 305 now. In addition, a litre of industrial kerosene oil has also been reduced by Rs. 134 to Rs. 330.
The proposal by the CPC to reduce the kerosene prices was endorsed by President Ranil Wickremesinghe, a statement issued by the President’s Media Division (PMD) noted.
