Grace period for all cable, mobile and landline bill payments

An extended grace period for post-paid bill payments of all telecom, mobile, and direct-to-home/cable TV services has been announced following the instructions of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL).

This is in addition to providing emergency credit facilities for pre-paid customers. The reason for these measures, a statement issued by the Department of Government Information mentioned, was the importance of connectivity in information dissemination in the fight against COVID-19.
