SJB MP Dr. Harsha de Silva yesterday extended a special thank you to the people of India for supporting the Suwa Seriya with medical supplies.

He said under the current socio-economic crisis, the Suwa Seriya Foundation has experienced a severe shortage of medicine and other life-saving medical equipment. 

To ensure the Foundation runs uninterrupted, Dr. Harsha De Silva personally reached out to the Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, during his visit to help meet the Foundation’s urgent requirements. Today, Suwa Seriya received a full consignment of urgent medicine and we thank the people of India for continued support towards the Foundation. 

Suwa Seriya Foundation Chairman Duminda Rathnayaka, CEO Sohan de Silva and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Srilal de Silva were also present at the occasion.

India hands over medical supplies to Suwa Seriya Foundation
