Health officials confirmed 16 COVID-19 fatalities on Tuesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 13,908.
Fourteen COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Tuesday were over the age of 60 and two were between 30 and 59 years. Zero deaths were reported from the under-30 age group.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.45% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.37% of the fatalities are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.18% of the fatalities are below 30 years.
Eight COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Tuesday were male and eight were female. Of the total COVID-19 fatalities, 7,764 are male and 6,144 are female.
