Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha and Samagi Jana Balawegaya Leader and Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa
A significant meeting took place between Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha and Samagi Jana Balawegaya Leader and Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa in Colombo. During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on various economic, social, and political matters. Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa expressed his gratitude for the support the Indian Government has provided to Sri Lanka over many decades as its closest neighbour. He also requested the Indian High Commissioner to continue providing the necessary support to help Sri Lanka overcome its current economic crisis and recover from bankruptcy.
