JVP-led NPP seeks meeting with EC

The National People’s Power (NPP) led by the JVP has written to the Election Commission Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya seeking an appointment to discuss the challenges posed in holding an election amidst the ongoing programs to contain the spread of COVID-19.

The Colombo District Leader of the NPP and JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake, sent the letter today seeking a date at the earliest to meet with the Election Commission.
