Korean Embassy announces quiz competition

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea will be organising a quiz competition about Korea, following the K-pop Festival held on 14 July.

The Embassy has organised the Quiz on Korea to respond to the growing love and deep interest in Korean culture and language.

The Quiz on Korea is a quiz competition based on the survival concept, where the questions will be generic topics on Korea, including Korean lifestyle, traditional culture, history, and language. Question types would include “Yes or No”, “Multiple-choice”, “Short-answer” etc. The competition will be held on 22 September from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the Colombo Public Library Auditorium. 

Anyone interested in Korea may take part in the quiz on Korea, by submitting the duly completed application forms (available on the embassy website: http://overseas.mofa.go.kr/lk-en/brd/m_2309/list.do) via email to [email protected] by 24 August.

This event is held in co-operation with Korean Residents Association of Lanka, National Unification Advisory Council Southwest Asia Chapter, Korean Businessmen’s Association in Sri Lanka, and sponsored by LG and Samsung.
