LIOC generously contributes Rs. 200 m to President’s Fund

During the recent visit of Lanka IOC PLC  Chairman Sujoy Choudhury, the management of LIOC made a contribution of Rs. 200 million to the President’s Fund which was presented to President Ranil Wickremesinghe by Choudhury in presence of LIOC Managing Director Dipak Das. The proceeds of this fund are being utilised by the Government of Sri Lanka for benevolent purposes such as Medical Assistance, Education and Scholarship programs, Welfare activities, Religious activities, Sports and Arts, Cultural Activities.

Lanka IOC PLC being a responsible corporate citizen has been making regular donations mainly focusing on education, healthcare, environment and community development under CSR activities of the Company. LIOC has been regularly discharging its corporate social responsibility to the Community by making contributions and donations for the needy through various CSR Projects. LIOC has made continuous efforts to support every strata of the society by donating medicine and medical equipment to hospitals, distribution of dry rations to the needy and weaker sections of society, donating sanitary equipment and other Material to Schools and provisioning for the necessity of e-learning by the school children, etc.
