LIOC suspends fuel distribution till Sunday

Lanka IOC announced that it has decided to suspend the distribution of fuel to filling stations from yesterday till Sunday. 

The decision was taken after considering the number of protests planned for 8 and 9 July.

“In view of planned protest, we have been advised 2 discontinue our supply operations to sheds with immediate effect for today & tom. However, we shall continue our supplies from Trinco to CPC & to our valued industries uninterruptedly. Hope 2 resume supplies 2 sheds from Sunday 10 July early hours,” LIOC Managing Director Manoj Gupta tweeted yesterday.
