Lanka IOC reduces Lanka Auto Diesel by Rs. 9 per litre

Considering the larger interest of channel partners and sensitiveness of Diesel prices, Lanka IOC has reduced the prices of ‘Lanka Auto Diesel (LAD)’ by Rs. 9 per litre effective 12 a.m. today.

The prices of Petrol and Diesel have gone up significantly in the international market in the recent months due to which Lanka IOC (LIOC) is incurring huge losses in marketing of Auto Fuels. Considering above, LIOC has increased the price of ‘Lanka Petrol 92 (LP92)’ by Rs. 5 per litre only. 

The above has been done as the prices of Auto Fuels have not been revised by GOSL in line with the approved pricing mechanism and the current revision in the prices will only marginally mitigate the losses on sale of Auto Fuels. 

The prices will be effective from 12 a.m. today as follows.
