Lord Buddha’s sacred relics from Taxila, Pakistan reach Kandy

Most sacred relics of Lord Buddha brought from Pakistan are being exhibited for the general public in Kandy District at Balagolla Budhist Centre on 11 May and at Ambanwela Raja Maha Vihara on 12 May. The Relics were received by Rev. Thalpotha Dhammajothi Thero.

Afterwards the Relics will be brought back to Colombo on 13 May for exposition at Sedawatte Purana Viharaya, Wellampitiya on 13-14 May and Gangaramaya Viharasthanaya on 15-16 May.
