MPs to receive vaccines on 3 extra days

COVID-19 immunisation for Members of Parliament (MPs) will be available for three additional days, starting 23 February, Serjeant-at-Arms of the Parliament Narendra Fernando said.

Arrangements have been made to administer the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine to MPs between 8.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. on the above days at the Army Hospital, Narahenpita.

“It was decided to continue the vaccinating process since most of the Parliamentarians will be in Colombo next week as the Parliament sittings are scheduled,” a statement issued by the Parliament read.
