As a special gesture of solidarity, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday visited the Turkish Embassy and signed a condolence book in the wake of the recent strong earthquakes in Turkey and Syria which have caused over 16,000 fatalities. Rajapaksa said prayers of Sri Lankan people are with the Turkish Government and the people.
